Garland County Jail Ministries, Inc (GCJMI) is a ministry to the Garland County Sheriff's Department, Deputies, Detainees and their Families. GCJM was established in 1991.
Department of Justice statistics reveal that within three years of their release from prison, 63% of inmates had been re-arrested on felony charges for serious misdemeanors. We are committed to spreading the Gospel to those in the criminal justice system to effect change in this criminal behavior.
We provide incarcerated people and their families a Christ-centered ministry utilizing Christian Education, discipleship training, and pastoral care. With the goal of promoting physical, spiritual and emotional growth through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
We provide:
* Christian Education

* Liaison between the Sheriff’s Office, churches and other recovery civic organizations
